about kyle
My whole life has been one yearning for truth and connection. The profound mystery of life and the complexity of how it manifests in our individual lives and collective reality has been a singular obsession of mine for as long as I can remember. My work and life have oriented me towards experiencing comfort in the great unknown and partnering with others to explore our agency in creating meaningful and flourishing lives. I work with others to reach our potential for lives full of clarity, creativity, resilience, connection, playfulness, confidence, and courage.
I am an expert in compassion and human development, mental health, world religions and philosophy, education, mindfulness-based therapies, psychedelics, and trauma-informed care. With almost two decades of experience, I have guided hundreds of clients through transformational experiences that have enabled them to heal complex wounds, navigate the intricacy of life, and develop rich, healthy, and fulfilling lives of purpose.
I see myself as a companion and accomplice on your journey of uncovering your whole self. I offer deep presence, shared wisdom, gentle encouragement, and a clear mirror for reflection and invitation into truth.
I hope to use my academic, clinical, and embodied expertise to create a safe and supportive space for your unfolding development. My training is in service to our collective liberation, marked by integrity, care, and transformation.

Qualifications

A professional bio might go something like this:
I am a Mindfulness-based psychedelics therapist and trauma-informed development practitioner with 15+ years of experience in holistic wellness, personal development training, and client care. I am acutely skilled in guiding individuals through transformative journeys using mindfulness, plant medicine, and somatic practices, adhering to research-based development and restorative justice frameworks. I am experienced in delivering in-person, online, and remote support, sharing dreams and goals, preparing for deep work, and integrating new learning and possibilities into clients' lives. I am dedicated to the mission of advancing mental, spiritual, and physical health through innovative therapies and deep presence.
More vulnerably, the jargon hides the complexity of my own journey.
My career has been non-linear, a deep commitment to my own unfolding. I have worked in several industries, from higher education to pastoral ministry, blue-collar construction to teaching yoga teachers in the jungles of Costa Rica. This vast experience has allowed me to acquire generalist and specialist skillsets, tools that can be called upon when needed. Most importantly, this develops wisdom, applying knowledge of the right modality and mindset to ever-changing situations and clients. We are not monolithic or static creatures; we are dynamic and complex agents that require a framework to match. We cannot lead people where we have not yet gone ourselves, and I continue to traverse the depths of my own experience with care, curiosity, passion, and tenderness.
All of my experience is woven together by a word: stewardship.
I have always been in service of those in my care, gently partnering with individuals and groups as we discover who we are and how we can become whole in the face of a world that seeks to keep us separate.
Some titles I have held and hold loosely:
Professor | Educator | Advocate | Researcher | Author | Speaker | Trainer | Student
Assistant Dean of Students | Student Life Coordinator | Residence Director
Pastor | Chaplain | Mediator | Counselor | Mentor | Coach | Practitioner | Tech Director | Cook
The titles I really care about:Dog Dad | Partner | Friend | Lifelong Learner | Explorer | Accomplice
What I hope for:
That our collective and individual lives would be characterized by compassion and curiosity. That we would have access to everything we need to be safe, happy, healthy, and at ease. That there would be a space for all beings to unfold gently into our fullest flourishing potential. My work is about liberation.
